The 9th Healthcare Industry Forum will be held at Beijing International Convention Center on Oct. 20-22, 2005. The theme of this Forum is "Catching Opportunities in China". SAPA is a co-sponsor of this forum. The host will provide travel subsidy (round trip airline coach ticket and lodging during the meeting) to the invited speaker. If interested, please send your application to Dr. Charles Wang at charleswangsapa@yahoo.com, no later than Aug. 31, 2005. As usual, the applications will be pre-screened by the SAPA Review Committee that is consisted of representatives from HQ and all chapters. The criteria for pre-screening will include, but not limited to, (1) The candidate must be an active member of SAPA, and his/her contribution or support to SAPA, (2) His/her presentation must fit into the theme/topic of meeting, (3) He/she must be an expert in the area which he/she is presenting (demonstrated by his/her education, publication, working experiences, etc.), (4) Competition among the candidates in the similar topic. The applications of selected candidates will be submitted to the Organization Committee of Beijing Forum for further evaluation and final selection.
