The 10th Beijing Healthcare Industry Forum will be held in Beijing on Oct. 26-28, 2006. The theme of this year Forum is "China - Opportunities in International Division of Labor". As usual, SAPA will be the co-sponsor of this forum. The host will provide travel subsidies to the invited speaker. The application form for this meeting is attached. If interested, please submit your application to Dr. Li Shi at li_shi@merck.com or Dr. Jian Li at jli@prdus.jnj.com no later than July 24, 2006.
PLEASE INDICATE IN WHICH SESSION YOU WOULD LIKE TO GIVE YOUR PRESENTATION. As usual, the application will be pre-screened by the SAPA Review Committee that consists of representatives from HQ and all chapters. The criteria for pre-screening will include, but not limited to, (1) the applicant must be an active SAPA membership, and he/she has made a significant contribution/support to SAPA,
(2) His/her presentation fitting into the theme/topic of the meeting,
(3) He/she must be an expert in the area which he/she presents (demonstrated by his/her education, publication, working experiences, etc.),
(4) competition among the applicants in the same area. The applications of selected candidates will be submitted to the Organizing Committee of Beijing Forum for further evaluation and final selection.
