SAPA-HQ 2007 Annual Picnic

Dear SAPA members and firends,

The Sino-American Pharmaceutical Professionals Association (SAPA) is organizing a picnic at the Johnson Park, Grove 4, on Sunday, October 7th, 2007 from 11:30 am to 3:30 pm (please see the attached flyer). The picnic is to thank SAPA members and friends for their support and participation of SAPA activities during the past year and to promote networkings . Johnson Park is located on River Road in Piscataway Township. For directions, see below and check the website at: http://co.middlesex.nj.us/parksrecreation/johnson.asp.

There are plenty of facilities for outdoor activities at the park such as tennis courts, soccer field, children's playgrounds, animal haven, and bike/walkways. For group activities there will be volleyball and tug-of-war between SAPA members. We invite SAPA members from different companies to form volleyball teams for friendly matches. We also plan to have small group networking discussions/chats for members working in different areas such as Biology, Chemistry, Pre-clinical including DMPK and Tox, CMC (Process Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry and Formulation), Clinical Study, etc (please bring your business card). A clown will be on site to entertain the kids. Besides the BBQ, there will also be Chinese food for everyone.

So bring your family and friends and have a great autumn day at the park. There will only be a nominal charge of $7/person, $3/kids 2-6 years old (kids under 2 free) for SAPA members and their families. Please contact the following SAPA members to purchase tickets in advance. On site registration at the park will be $15/person.

Directions:

Route 287

* Take Exit 9 (Highland Park)
* Follow River Rd. toward Highland park (2-3 miles)
* Make a right onto Landing Lane and drive 500 ft
* Make a left onto Johnson Drive and drive 0.4 mile
* Grove 4 is just east of Route 18 overpass on the right hand side.

Route 27

* In Highland Park, take Route 27 South and make a right onto River Road (or make a left from Route 27 North)
* Pass 1st traffic light (Cedar Lane) and make a left onto Rose Drive. Drive 800ft.
* Make a right onto Johnson Drive and drive 0.5 mile
* Grove 4 is past the small zoo and before Route 18 overpass on the left hand side
