Dr. Lieping Chen, graduated from Fujian Medical School, Fuzhou City, China in 1982. Subsequently, he completed his resident training in Fujian Union hospital, Fuzhou City, China. In 1989, He completed his scientific training in Experimental Pathology and earned his Ph.D in MCP-Hahnemann Medical School, Philadelphia, PA. During 1898-1990, he received his post-doc training in the University of Washington, Seattle, WA. During 1990~1997, he worked as Research Investigator, Sr. Research Investigator, Principle Investigator, for Bristol-Myers Squibb Pharm. Res. Institute. In 1997, He was appointed as associate professor in the Department of Immunology, Mayo Medical School, Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MN. In 2000, he was promoted as Professor of Immunology, Mayo Medical School, Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MN. Currently, he also served as Consultant, Department of Immunology, Mayo Medical School, Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MN. He published total 96 papers in peer review journals and received many academic rewards. Since year 2000, he also served Federal Advisory Committee of experimental Immunology Study Section (EI), CSR, NIH. He currently, is also leading several major investigational projects funded by NIH/NCI.
