Changfa Li is currently the Chairman and President of Shanghai Hualian Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. Mr. Li was born in 1952 and graduated in 1982 from China Eastern Institute of Technology as a BS in bio-engineering. After he joined Shanghai #12 Pharmaceutical Factory (later became Shanghai Hualian Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.), he was quickly promoted to the general manager of the company. In 1993, Mr. Li became the Chairman and president of Shanghai Hualian Pharmaceuticals. In 1995, Mr. Li received his MBA from Tianjin University. During his nineteen years tenure at Hualian, he managed the company annual growth of 20% since 1993. And Hualian Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. became one of the top 50 pharmaceutical companies in China.

Mr. Changfa Li has received numerous awards, including the Outstanding Young Entrepreneur Award and two consecutive year with The Most Reliable Business Executive Award, both from the Shanghai City. In 2001, Mr. Li became the member of Shanghai Life Sciences Committee of Chinese Academy of Sciences. One of his literature, titled "Business Owner", was awarded the first rank by Chinese Outstanding Scholarship Literature Committee.
