2018 SAPA Pharma/Biotech Investment Summit and Roadshow is organized by Sino-American Pharmaceutical Professionals Association (SAPA) Headquarter (based in New Jersey) and SAPA Connecticut Chapter.
SAPA was founded in 1993 and has become a well-recognized non-profit professional organization with over 6,000 members. It is headquartered in New Jersey with six regional chapters in the U.S. (New England, Greater Philadelphia, Connecticut, Washington DC, Chicago, and California) and one chapter in China. SAPA’s missions are to facilitate the advancement of pharmaceutical sciences and biotechnology, to contribute to public health education, to promote scientific exchange and business cooperation between the U.S. and China, and to foster professional career development of its members. Every year SAPA organizes a number of events including the annual conference, scientific symposium, and workshops.
The primary purpose of SAPA Pharma/Biotech Investment Summit and Roadshow is to provide a platform to facilitates communication among scientists, startup companies and venture.
Sino-American Pharmaceutical Professionals Association (SAPA) is pleased to announce that the early registration is now open for 2018 SAPA Pharma/Biotech Investment Summit and Roadshow. This event will be held at Columbia University, NYC on June 16th, 2018, and is organized by SAPA Headquarter (based in New Jersey) and SAPA-CT (Connecticut) Chapter.
Our 2017 Venture Summit and Roadshow was a great success during the 24th SAPA annual conference. We received more than 30 applications for roadshow and hosted a total of 12 panelists from VC, corporate BD and law firms as judges. HighTide Biopharmaceutical Ltd., New Biotic LLC, and ID4Pharma LLC have been selected to be winners
Building upon last year’s huge success, this year’s Pharma/Biotech Investment Summit and Roadshow is expanded to a standalone one-day event. The event will feature plenary session on global life science investment and roadshow presentations. Roadshow projects are focused on life science including but not limited to pharma, biotech, medical device, healthcare big data, etc.
During this event, certain roadshow applications will be selected for platform presentations. Three presentations will be awarded based on merits to those who have outstanding potential. Other presenters will have opportunities to meet investors 1:1 privately to discuss their projects using a poster, slides or other forms.
Ten great investment organizations have confirmed their participations in this event, including Solebury Trout (a PNC Bank Subsidiary), Citigroup, Lilly Asia Ventures, F’Prime Capital Partners (formerly Fidelity Biosciences), Manhattan Capital, Tsinghua Holdings Capital, Redhill Capital, Good Health Capital, China Merchants Bank New York Branch, Cedrus Investments, etc.
