The dinner was filled with a joyful and festive atmosphere, highlighted by several performances. Jin Yang, a Pipa artist who won the Chinese Golden Bell Award of Music, delivered a splendid performance, that vividly reflects cheerful holiday spirit and inspires imagination about beautiful sceneries in China. Following this, SAPA volunteers from BMS, Xiaowei Sun, Junchi Lu, Tong (Amanda) Kang, Shiqi Dong, and Jessie Yin, performed a traditional Chinese style jazz dance titled “The Same Hairpin”, which celebrates spring and sisterhood with lively upbeat music. Young violinist George Yang then captivated the audience with “Spring Festival Joy,” a classic Chinese New Year piece, further enhancing the festive spirit of the event.
